Here in Greater Des Moines, it's easy to be a kid. Whether your concept of household enjoyable is a skate park, a smash park, a theme park, or an actual park, Des Moines is the perfect escape, no matter if you're young or just young at heart.
Gee, what could be more enjoyable than spring break with the kids? Those beautiful children jumping on the couch, fighting with each other, making a mess everywhere they go. It suffices to drive a parent wild. So, leave your home. Here's a list of things you can do with the rugrats free of charge, and they're enjoyable, too.
The outdoor park is free to check out every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Kids enjoy this location due to the fact that it was developed for them, and you most likely will too. All long-term exhibitions are totally free, however there's an additional charge for the IMAX theater programs and some tourist attractions.

Prepare for a Nature Scavenger Hunt at the Upper Newport Bay from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This is created for ages 7-12, but all ages are invited to sign up with. Search for unique interpretive tables and posts along tracks around the Peter and Mary Muth Interpretive Center.
Free parking. The program "Planted Creations: Garden Art" is fun for grades 7-12 at the library. 4:30 -6 p.m. Decorate a terracotta pot with paint pens.
Register here: Bring a jacket and delight in the telescopes and professional aid at a "Starr Party" at Caspers Wilderness Park from 7-9:30 p.m. There will be stargazing equipment on hand, but you can also bring your own. Activities happen at the nature center. Free admission, but parking is $5.
Kids can choose from a range of seeds readily available to take home and grow their own gardens (while supplies last). How about a scavenger hunt for teenagers at the Teenager Egg-Venture? Browse for hints indoors at the Ronald J. Parks Neighborhood Entertainment Center at 7 p.m. to win rewards, then take pleasure in a photo cubicle, games, dodgeball, Karaoke and more up until 9 p.m. 30875 Rancho Vista Road, Temecula.
There will be a timed egg scramble for kids ages 10 and under, enjoyable art activities, a kids play zone, live student musical, dance efficiencies, a community hike at 10:30 a.m. and more.
Making Your Next Excursion Remarkable with Regional ArtEvents start at 9:30 a.m. and the searching starts at 10 a.m. sharp. The hunts will be divided by age and there's also an unique needs location.
